Your tool entries stay in this browser
Brandon Foundation does not create accounts or upload the scholarship, volunteer, contact, or letter content you enter into its tools. The current MVP has no business API.
What is stored locally
Your browser may store scholarship records, volunteer entries, a letter draft, and tool preferences under versioned Brandon Foundation localStorage keys. This lets your records remain after a refresh on the same browser and device.
Local storage is not permanent cloud backup. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing browsers, or switching devices may remove your records. The site cannot recover them.
Exports and imports
CSV, JSON, DOCX, and print files are created on your device. Once exported, those files are outside the browser’s local storage and you control where they are kept or shared. JSON imports are read in memory and are not uploaded.
Analytics and hosting
The tools do not send entered names, organizations, dates, amounts, notes, contacts, or letter text for analytics. A future static hosting or CDN provider may process basic request logs such as IP address, requested path, user agent, and time for security and delivery. Any production retention details must match the selected provider before launch.
If you email hi@brandonfoundation.org, your message is handled by your email provider and the recipient’s email provider. Do not send sensitive student or identity information.
