Accurate records
What to include in a volunteer hours log
Record an activity close to the day it happened, while the organization name, responsibilities, and time are still easy to check. Choose start and end time when you know the exact schedule, or enter the total hours and minutes when that is the format supplied by the organization. Break time is only subtracted when you add it. Every entry is stored as whole minutes so totals remain consistent.
Contact details are optional and stay on this device. Add them only when they will help the school, program, or organization review the record. A future date or an unusually long entry receives a factual check prompt, but the tool does not decide whether an activity qualifies for a particular requirement.
Export or print the selected records before sharing them for review. The blank signature lines are provided for an authorized person to complete by hand. You can also create a community service letter draft, or return to the scholarship tracker to organize application deadlines.

Does this log verify my volunteer service?
No. It is a personal record. Ask the relevant organization or program to review your exported or printed log.
Where are my records stored?
Volunteer entries stay in this browser on this device unless you export them.
How are total hours calculated?
The tool stores whole minutes. In start-and-end mode it subtracts any break you enter; in total-hours mode it converts hours and minutes to one minute total.
Can a supervisor sign the printed log?
Yes. The print layout includes blank review and signature lines, but the site never creates or verifies a signature.
Can I move my log to another device?
There is no automatic sync. Export a backup before switching devices or clearing browser data.
Can I create a service letter from these hours?
Yes. The service letter tool can read selected entries from this browser after you choose an organization.
